A Great Working Environment

Amanda Higinbothom has been a Project Manager with Kansas Asphalt since January of 2021. Before joining Kansas Asphalt, Amanda worked in the field of broadcast video and audio for 17 years. Amanda loves helping others, and teaching is one of her recognized skills.  Amanda is a powerful force in the workplace and uses her positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage others to work hard and succeed.

Amanda"Here are some of the things I love about working at KAI. Let’s talk about Company Environment: KAI has a positive working environment. The company takes care of employees and understands a work-life balance and they also help you in your personal growth. I am treated with respect and given daily encouragement. I’m comfortable with going to upper management to discuss anything and that’s unheard of these days.
Surprise time-off: Sometimes, KAI gives a surprise time off to all the employees. Whether it’s for the Super Bowl or the day after Halloween, super exciting! FOOD and more FOOD!!! KAI is always feeding its employees with awesome lunches to show appreciation for our hard work.
Lastly, I laugh EVERY day, sometimes until my stomach hurts. It’s very important to work hard and be able to laugh. I’m fortunate to be a KAI employee."
